The whole building is in great condition, largely thanks to Tom, who is an extremely considerate, communicative, and responsible landlord."

"I loved living at 1238 Spaight St! It is the perfect location for graduate students or young professionals in Madison. Literally a few hundred ft away from the Willy Street Co-op and some great bars and restaurants. Plus, it is very near Orton park and surrounded by wonderful, home-owning neighbors near by and close to parks. There is also laundry in the basement and a great backyard! The whole building is in excellent condition (beautiful hardwood floors, nice windows, great appliances), and the landlord is very responsive but also laid back!. All in all, one of the best deals in Madison!"

"We have lived at 1238 Spaight for almost 2 years and it is wonderful. Tom has been the best landlord we have ever had (and believe me we have had a lot of landlords). If there is any sort of problem at all he immediately takes care of it. He is always fair and his house is beautiful and well taken care of. The neighborhood (in our opinion) is by far the best place to live in Madison. It is within walking distance of restaurants, The Willy Street Co-op, the bank, bookstore, video store, the lake and numerous parks. The neighbors are friendly and overall this has been a great place to live."
